Our Unseen Guest is a solo project that has been active since 2017. It has been described as romantic modular synth, minimal synth, darkwave, post-industrial, post-martial and so on. These descriptions have all been appropriate at one point or another, because the project is constantly changing (as any project should). This project has had self-releases as well as an album release with select synth label TONN Recordings, a label based out of Belfast, Northern Ireland. OUG has been featured on the Seattle-based KEXP radio show "Mechanical Breakdown", the "Sound Obscura" radio show in Chicago, New Ways To Noise in New Zealand, Resonance Magnetique, 1978 Radio Show in Portugal (RUC 107.9), Blaue Rosen on TakTentRadio based in Scotland, Passion Triste Radio in France (Radioprimitive 92.4), Mercury-Radio.net, SynthPopLover's Radio show and more.
Technical Requirements for concerts/shows:
I have very simple requirements for shows and have optimized my setup to be as easy as possible for sound technicians to deal with. I am using a Eurorack system with an onboard mixer that has two balanced line outs (standard instrument cable outs, 1/4"). I require one microphone for vocals and if possible a folding table or anything this height that I can place the eurorack case on. An additional on stage mixer with 12+ inputs would be ideal but is not necessary.
